FAQ

Where does your club meet?

Summoner School regularly meets in KOH 208 which is the computer lab above the Starbucks in King's Hall. For more information on our events, please join our Discord server where we post all of our event details and announcements.

Due to COVID-19, this semester's events will be online only.

What is the difference between Summoner School, SC Esports, and USC Esports Union?

Summoner School is strictly focused on League of Legends and as a result, we are able to provide the best student communities, experiences, and networking opportunities surrounding League of Legends individually as an Esports. Our club is not affiliated with SC Esports or USC Esports Union in any way and we are entirely grassroots.

All students, faculty, and staff member are free to join our club - All you need to do is show up to our events and sign in! As of Fall 2019, we also offer a Premium Membership where you can support our club financially and receive a lot of cool benefits in return including priority access to events, our club t-shirt, and a Supporter Card which has discounts to companies that we've partnered with!

What is the best way for me to get involved?

There are lots of ways for you to get involved! The easiest ways are to show up to our events and to talk in our Discord server. If you're looking to develop your professional skills and network with esports professionals, we have plenty of opportunities for our members to volunteer and network at esports industry events!

If you are interested in joining Summoner School's executive board, we recruit new officers at the beginning of every semester. Please come to our general meetings or join our Discord server to learn more.
