When Sophie isn't teaching Korean classes at USC, she's out in the field teaching English to Korean pro gamers in both League of Legends and Overwatch. Summoner School is honored to have someone with her passion for esports as our faculty advisor.
Lauren "Toast Sadster" Shen
President
Major: Computer Science (Games)
Year: Senior
Lauren has been playing League of Legends since Season 2 and is still hard stuck in Silver. In her free time, she enjoys journaling, drinking tea, traveling, and designing. In addition to activities on campus, Lauren also works as a Tournament Administrator for TespaAfter graduating, Lauren intends to work in the tech or esports industry.
Michael "KoreanGsus" Ahn
Head of Internal Affairs
Major: Narrative Studies
Year: Junior
Michael has decade-long experiences in the esports fields of StarCraft, League of Legends, and Overwatch. He has worked as a coach for all three games while recently expanding to administrative roles such as partnerships and event management with the likes of Shanghai Dragons and Inven Global. He currently works as an Analyst for Counter Logic Gaming Academy.

Jerry is a premed student aiming to be a pediatrician in the future. In his free time, Jerry works at a research lab at Keck School of Medicine, watches anime, and plays a variety of video games.
Rachel "StaleMilk" Hong

Major: Art
Year: Senior
Aside from USC Summoner School, Rachel spends countless hours playing rhythm games and drawing. After graduation, she plans on going into the gaming industry as an illustrator or concept artist.

Adrian is a transfer student from Long Beach who also works at In-N-Out Burger. Trust him when he tells you, he can make a good burger!
Amy "Amy Liu" Liu

Major: Computational Linguistics
Year: Senior
Amy loves soup, spicy food, anime, and sleeping. Catch her inting in ranked games at 4 AM and trashing her LP 😂
Shirlynn "egglet" Li

Jay has extensive knowledge and experience in esports - previously an analyst and assistant coach for ROX Tigers, he is looking to develop and gain more esports experience in North America.
